At Copper Moon Massage, our goal is to provide a warm, comfortable ambience, so that you get the most out of your treatment.
Your therapist will tailor your massage according to your needs. General relaxation or stress reduction sessions usually include all the major areas of the body, while a session for a localized injury, pain or tightness will be focused on a specific area. It is possible to spend most of an entire session on only one area. Your therapist is also happy to modify your massage at anytime during your session with regard to pressure and location, just let them know.
Our rooms are beautifully decorated with soothing lighting and relaxing music. You will be completely draped with soft, comfy sheets to ensure privacy and comfort during your massage. Climb onto a heated, plush massage table and begin to relax. We will return with a “knock” at the door, and place a moist hot pack on your shoulders. Take a deep breath, relax, and let all your tension melt away!
Tips To Getting A Great Massage
Communication is the #1 key to a great massage. If you like deep tissue, tell us. If we ask you, “How is the pressure?” please feel free to tell us to lighten up or go deeper. Some people feel impolite or don’t want to offend us but it is standard practice in our profession and we are used to adjusting to the individual needs of the customer. Our goal is to give you a great massage, and your input is vital in doing that.
Relax and Breathe! Most likely, you have been running around as fast as you can all day, trying to get everything done, making everybody else happy. Now is your time. Take slow, deep breaths. Begin to feel your neck and shoulders relax. Let your arms and hands be limp. Feel your body sink into the table. Slow down and enjoy this special time, just for you.
What to expect from your first massage at Copper Moon
When you first arrive, you will be asked to fill out a small amount of paperwork, including any insurance information we will need to bill your provider. We will also ask what your main areas of focus are. For example: Tight upper shoulders and neck; migraine headaches; low back pain; or simply stressed out all over! The information you provide us, just prior to your session helps your massage therapist determine how to make your session the most beneficial and relaxing for you.
