I am a life long resident of Olympia where I grew up helping my family owned business. I graduated from Tumwater High School, received an AA, and Paralegal degree. I quickly realized that wasn't for me. I had a strong desire not only to be creative and challenged every day,but more importantly to help others. That's when I decided to go to Bodymechanics Massage School in Olympia. I became a licensed massage practitioner in 2002, opened Copper Moon Massage in 2004 and have loved every minute of it since. Knowing I am making the quality of life better for so many people is very fulfilling. When someone tells me "I haven't felt this good in 10 years" or "I am sleeping through the night, and I haven't done that for years", I feel I am providing a great service, and that is such a wonderful feeling. I can't imagine doing anything else.

I found myself in the most rewarding work ever. The effects of massage therapy on my clients showed me the emotional reward of healing others. From then, I was hooked! I have been a full time therapist since, refining and expanding my techniques and expertise.
My training includes Craniosacral, deep tissue, Reiki, and extends into reflexology, Shiatsu and Raindrop Therapy. Through the years, I have developed a sense of connection that has helped me in other techniques for energy blockages and specific points of the body.

fairs. From there I operated my own massage business for 3 years in a small office as I continued my education in Hot Stone Massage and Zen Shiatsu (traditional Japanese Massage). I am happy to have joined the team here at Copper Moon Massage as the next phase of my massage path. I enjoy working with people to help facilitate each individual’s own healing process through intention, skillful touch and massage techniques. I feel that with the demands of today, as a whole we tend to loose track of our body and get stuck in our minds too much. I offer a chance to unwind and reconnect with yourself, giving space for mind, body and spirit to reconnect for over all health and well being. I love being a Massage Therapist and take a holistic approach in treating clients. I look forward to working with you and assisting in improving the quality of life through massage.

and sports massage. Additionally, I am trained in pre and post natal pregnancy and infant massage, and also infant massage instruction for new parents or caregivers. My specialty is a customized treatment, tailored to fit your needs. I believe those needs may be different for each person's body and may change from day to day. I utilize many tools during your session to help you meet your therapy goals; myofascial release, deep tissue, trigger point , passive positional release, pin and stretch, reflexology and Thai foot massage are among some of the techniques I am adept at. I truly love what I do, and believe that joy is reflected in my work.
When I graduated Massage School in 2000 from Peninsula College in Port Angeles, I was ready to up-root from Port Townsend and I chose Olympia as my new home. I began my massage career in 2001 at a local clinic, with focus to injury treatment massage and relaxation. I also did a lot of on-site chair massage around the peninsula at state offices and health

Originally from Tucson, Arizona, my 18 year career path in graphic design drew me to Seattle; over the years my body developed chronic repetitive tensions that required regular massage treatments. What lead me to the fulfilling work of massage therapy? Inspired healing. I received at least 100 hours of treatment from the amazing hands of therapists to help counteract the long hours of desk and computer work. It worked, and look at me now! I am a 2009 graduate of Renton Technical College, a 1000+ hour accredited medical massage therapy program, and I also specialize in intra-oral massage to treat people with TMJ dysfunctions. As a therapist I skillfully apply a variety of massage techniques to promote relaxation and healing from chronic conditions, injuries and everyday tensions. Clients have praised my deep tissue work for its specificity in treating muscles and tendons. My knowledge of muscular anatomy and kinesiology allows me to be efficient with my application of frictions, neuromuscular techniques and myofascial release. Using every minute of a one-hour session to support my clients in the change they wish to see is my highest priority. I am pleased to be a new Olympian at Copper Moon Massage staff and I look forward to being your therapist!
