I received physical therapy and massage for an injury I sustained and learned how much I could help people in recovery from injury as well as everyday problems. I really enjoy that aspect of massage and have future plans to add physical therapy to my repertoire.
I am a life long resident of Olympia where I grew up helping my family owned business. I graduated from Tumwater High School, received an AA, and Paralegal degree. I quickly realized that wasn't for me. I had a strong desire not only to be creative and challenged every day,but more importantly to help others. That's when I decided to go to Bodymechanics Massage School in Olympia. I became a licensed massage practitioner in 2002, opened Copper Moon Massage in 2004 and have loved every minute of it since. Knowing I am making the quality of life better for so many people is very fulfilling. When someone tells me "I haven't felt this good in 10 years" or "I am sleeping through the night, and I haven't done that for years", I feel I am providing a great service, and that is such a wonderful feeling. I can't imagine doing anything else.
I grew up in Olympia and graduated from Tumwater High School. While attending South Puget Sound Community College, I decided to transfer to Ashmead College, and became a licensed Massage Practitioner in 2006.

I grew up in a little town in Alaska, which explains my absolute love of the outdoors. When I'm not at work I can be found playing outside with my husband and our two dogs. I moved to Olympia in 2001, and began massage school at Bodymechanics that fall. I have been licensed since 2002, and have been lucky to be involved in varying practices since.
I love therapeutic massage, and feel that's my calling. There's no bigger reward than simply being of help when someone is in pain. Who could ask for a better job? It is more rewarding than I could have ever thought.
My path in massage therapy started at an early age. When my Mom was sent home from the hospital with a simple packet of papers explaining her rehab exercises, I decided it was going to be my job to help her get better. So, at the age of 11, I had a first hand look at how difficult the healing process can be. That experience alone gave me the patience to see someone through a serious injury, and understand the healing process. My parents strongly believed in raising us in a holistic and non-traditional environment when it came to health. It was only natural that I choose massage as my career, and I am so glad I did.

I was born and raised in Olympia. Married to my High School sweet heart John for 22 years and we have a beautiful three year old daughter named Audrey.
I have always known I wanted to help people. I was 13 the first time a gave someone a massage, it was so beneficial for that person and I could see just how good he felt after so I was hooked, I loved giving massage.
I graduated from Ashmead College in February 2005. That April my daughter Audrey was born and I spent the last three years with her. I finally decided it was time to live my dream so I contacted Kari at Copper Moon. Kari was in the middle of remodeling and needed more massage therapist for her thriving business and the rest is history. I am blessed to work with a great group of people that truly love what they do.

I found myself in the most rewarding work ever. The effects of massage therapy on my clients showed me the emotional reward of healing others. From then, I was hooked! I have been a full time therapist since, refining and expanding my techniques and expertise.
My training includes Craniosacral, deep tissue, Reiki, and extends into reflexology, Shiatsu and Raindrop Therapy. Through the years, I have developed a sense of connection that has helped me in other techniques for energy blockages and specific points of the body.

I was born and raised in Santos, near the most beautiful beach in the south coast of Brazil. I graduated from University in Brasilia with a degree in teaching.
When I moved to the states with my family, I started working for elderly people. I saw what miraculous work could be done and decided to go to Utah college of Massage Therapy where I graduated in 1998.
I grew up in Alaska and moved to Olympia with my two daughters after graduating from Brenneke School of Massage in 2002. My education and training focused on myofascial release, Lomi Lomi and sports massage. In addition I have continued my massage training in Thai and injury/rehabilitation therapy as well as infant, pregnancy and post partum massage. I am very happy and proud to walk in the footsteps of the healers in my family, my Mother and Grandmother. My two beautiful daughters and I love living in this community. I enjoy passing on the joy of massage every day, both educating and empowering others…I love my work!
